Service Opportunities

Our purpose statement affirms that a central feature of our life together is service. Being "compelled by His love" we seek to imitate the same attitude as Jesus, who humbled himself as servant of all, we open our doors to the community: our arms to welcome, our ears to listen, our hands to serve, our hearts to love.

50-50-50 Volunteers: Hope has started a new program for volunteers called 50-50-50. It is being used to encourage volunteerism by folks transitioning from active parenting to empty nests, that is, a group of people usually in their fifties. 50-50-50 volunteers do NOT actually need to be in their fifties to participate, so feel free to join however old you are.

Hope for Habitat Work Days: Please call Bob Pike at 612/888-7185 to volunteer.

Elder and Deacon Nomination forms are available in the pew racks and at the HopeLink Table. Drop these forms in the offering plate or return them to the Main Office.

Clothing Center: Do you have gently used clothing you won't be wearing anymore? Do you have household items that are still in clean usable condition that you don't need any more? Consider donating them to Vine & Branches Clothing Center.

Mission trips: Call the Mission Office at 612-866-4055 for details.

Camp Ojibway staff applications are in the racks outside the Student Ministries Office and in the Main Office.
