What To Expect

Sunday is a time when we come together to worship God and learn from His Word. Each worship service includes music, prayer, Scripture readings, and teaching. Between the Traditional and Contemporary services, there are Bible studies and classes for kids, students, adults, and special needs adults that build relationships and equip all to dig deeper in faith.

We have care for infants through toddlers throughout Sunday morning. Sunday School is offered during the 10:00 am Equipping Hour. At 11:00 am, families can worship together or, if you have children ages 4 – 2nd grade, they can be dismissed for Kids’ Church part way through the service.

Jesus Immanuel: God with Us

In this Advent/Christmas season we will explore the word “Immanuel,” a Hebrew word that means “God with us.” We find it first in Isaiah 7:14 – “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” In his Gospel, Matthew found in this verse, which had an application for the 8th century BC in which it was written, a deeper application in the Christmas story. Jesus is our Immanuel (see Matthew 1:23); Jesus is God with us. What a joy that Jesus is not only Lord, the one to whom we owe our allegiance, not only Savior, the one who redeems from our sin, but God with us always (see Matthew 28:20), in our joys and in our sorrows, in every circumstance of our lives.

Fourth Wednesday Worship

Sanctuary – 6:30 pm
God is doing a new thing at Hope! Join us on the fourth Wednesday of every month to encounter God in a new way. These services make use of art, music, scripture, preaching, and experiential activities as we worship God together.

Gather with the Hope community at 5:30 in the Social Events room to share a meal before worship.
