Worship: God desires that we glorify and enjoy him forever. With this in mind we set aside time to spend with God. We seek to glorify God using our whole selves, with our hearts and souls and strength. This means that we try to experience God, to give him our full attention, in all that we do—whether we make
music, dance, contemplate, listen to
sermons, pray, work, or engage with the
visual arts—we do this for God's glory.
Worship Schedule and Worship StylesAt Hope, we present three different worship experiences. Each Sunday at 8:45 a.m. we gather for traditional worship featuring time-honored hymns led by organ and choir. At 11:00 a.m. our contemporary worship service is led by a praise band with vocalists, drums, guitars, and bass. At 6:30 p.m. we gather at
The Well for an experiential, reflective service with contemporary music. Our
Connection Hour (10:00-10:50) on Sunday mornings is designed to allow all of the people of Hope to gather. This is the time during which we offer educational programming for all ages.
Beginning in 2011, we adopted a new year-round worship schedule. That's right. Same worship schedule in the summer as in the fall and winter.
8:45 a.m. - Traditional Worship (led by organ and choir)
10:00 a.m. - Connection Hour (adult and youth education)
11:00 a.m. - Contemporary (led by worship band)
6:30 p.m. - The Well (experiential worship)
