“I’ll Be Looking For You”

“I’ll Be Looking For You”

“I’ll be looking for you!” These words were said to me by a dear woman named Lois on my first Sunday at Hope on October 4th. Her warmth and welcome led me to come back again.

She had no idea that simply seeing me would have a huge impact on the trajectory of my life in community. I love Hope Church; it has continued to be a wonderfully inviting place, and I am passing on Lois’ intentionality by greeting and introducing myself regularly to others.

At a 360 teaching on a recent Wednesday night it was suggested that we sit in a different place each time we come to church in order to newly meet or connect with others.  I am rising to this challenge because I want to respond in gratitude for the welcome I have received and join you in being a loving presence to anyone who comes through our doors.
