Elizabeth and Hazel: A Story of Reconciliation

Elizabeth and Hazel: A Story of Reconciliation

Reconciliation is the hard work of restoring broken relationships. Our annual celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day prompts us as a nation and as individuals to the urgent task of racial reconciliation. This is challenging, fragile work, as the story of Elizabeth and Hazel, two women from Little Rock, demonstrates. But God has given us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). In Christ, let us be reconciled to one another. (Pastor David Lenz)
